10-minute quick-start checklist

  • Sign in with Google or email OTP (section 02).
  • Complete your profile: name, phone, blood group, emergency contact (section 04).
  • Search for a doctor and open their profile (section 05).
  • Book your first appointment (section 06).
  • After the visit, check your prescription (section 08).
  • Save the emergency numbers to your home screen (section 12).

02 Sign in & add a profession

MadiFair has no separate "Patient app" and "Doctor app" โ€” one login, one identity.

  1. Sign in. Use "Continue with Google" or enter your email to receive a one-time code (OTP). No password to remember.
  2. You land as a Patient. A basic Patient profile is created automatically on first sign-in.
  3. Add a profession (optional). From the top menu of your Patient dashboard, choose Create Professional Profile and pick Doctor, Hospital, Laboratory or Pharmacy. Ambulance Driver, Fire Service and Police are also listed there for emergency responders, who must be approved by a super-admin before they can receive calls.
  4. Switch views. Once a profession is approved, you can open its dashboard from the same login โ€” your Patient identity never disappears.
Why this mattersA doctor is still a patient too โ€” they can book appointments with other doctors, get their own lab tests, and use every patient feature with the exact same account.

03 Dashboard tour

Your Patient dashboard shows your details and your records in one place.

  • Top menu โ€” Home, Edit Profile, Emergency History, Notifications, Wallet, Create Professional Profile, and the emergency service buttons.
  • Book Appointment โ€” starts a booking with a doctor.
  • Your details โ€” contact information, medical information (current problem, allergies, history) and emergency contact.
  • Tabs โ€” Appointments (with your queue number), Prescriptions (download as PDF or image), Test Reports (PDF once the report is ready) and Billing.

04 Your profile

Personal information

Keep your name, phone number, date of birth, blood group, address, and an emergency contact (name, phone, relation) up to date โ€” these appear on your prescriptions and are used by emergency responders.

06 Booking an appointment

  1. Choose location & date. On the doctor's profile, pick which hospital/chamber and which day.
  2. Pick a slot. Open slots are shown live; booked slots are hidden or greyed out.
  3. Confirm. Enter/confirm your name and phone number.
  4. Get confirmation. A confirmation with a queue/serial number appears in your account and is sent by notification.
TipSome hospitals allow their reception desk to book on your behalf over the phone โ€” this uses the same slot system, so availability always stays accurate.

07 The consultation & queue status

On the day of your visit, MadiFair keeps you informed instead of leaving you guessing in a waiting room.

  • Queue number: your booked appointment shows a queue (serial) number, visible on the Appointments tab of your dashboard.
  • During the visit: the doctor records your history, vitals, and any documents you brought; you don't need to do anything on your end.

08 Your digital prescription

As soon as the doctor finalizes the visit, the prescription lands in your account โ€” no paper to lose.

  • What's on it: diagnosis, medicines (name, dose, duration, instructions), advised tests, follow-up date, and the doctor's digital signature and QR code.
  • Verify it's real: the QR code on a printed copy links back to the original record, so pharmacies and labs can confirm it hasn't been altered.
  • Download or print any time from "My Prescriptions".
  • Follow-up: if the doctor scheduled a follow-up, it appears as a suggested booking you can confirm in one tap.

09 Lab tests & reports

  1. Test ordered. Tests the doctor prescribes appear in your Test Reports tab, with the referred lab (if any).
  2. Choose a lab. Use the doctor's referred lab or pick any connected laboratory โ€” independent, hospital-owned, or a hospital branch lab.
  3. Sample & status. Track status live: ordered โ†’ sample collected โ†’ processing โ†’ verified.
  4. Verified report. Once a qualified doctor at the lab verifies the result, it unlocks for you to view/download, with reference ranges and flags for abnormal values.

See section 14 for how the Lab side of the system is structured.

10 Pharmacy & buying medicine

  • Fulfil a prescription: take your prescription (printed, or the QR code from your account) to a pharmacy; the pharmacy scans the QR code to pull up exactly what was prescribed.

See section 14 for how Pharmacy and Medicine Company visibility work together.

11 Visit history & documents

  • Full timeline: every appointment, prescription, and lab report in one chronological history, filterable by doctor, hospital, or date range.
  • Documents: files the doctor attached to a prescription appear under that prescription in your account.

12 Emergency: police, ambulance & doctor

The red Emergency button on your dashboard is always one tap away โ€” it doesn't require you to be signed in to a specific hospital or doctor.

Tap Emergencyโ†’ Pick the serviceโ†’ Nearest responder notifiedโ†’ Live status & fee agreement

Choose which service you need โ€” each has its own short guide:

ServiceWhat happensGuide
๐Ÿš“ PoliceNearest registered police responder is alerted with your live location. How to use โ€” Police
๐Ÿš‘ AmbulanceNearest available ambulance driver accepts the call and starts moving to you.How to use โ€” Ambulance
๐Ÿฉบ Emergency doctorAn on-duty emergency doctor accepts remotely or dispatches to your location. How to use โ€” Emergency Doctor
Fee agreementEmergency responders may set a call-out fee; you'll see and confirm it in the app before the responder is dispatched, except where the situation clearly requires immediate action first.

Your past emergency calls are saved under Emergency History in your profile.

13 AI assistant & audio/video calls

  • AI assistant (chatbot): ask about symptoms, get help finding the right specialty, or ask "where is my report" โ€” available 24/7 from the chat icon.
  • Audio/video calls: where a doctor offers remote consultation, join directly from your appointment card at the scheduled time โ€” no separate app needed.
  • Call history: recorded consultations (where permitted) and call logs are kept with the related appointment.

14 How Lab, Pharmacy & Company work

These three sectors sit behind what you see as a patient. Open each for a detailed breakdown of how it is structured.

A lab on MadiFair can be one of three kinds, each with its own management layer:

  • Independent laboratory: fully self-managed โ€” its own staff, test catalog, pricing, and report verification.
  • Hospital-owned lab: operates under a hospital's main administration; the hospital sees consolidated reporting across the lab.
  • Hospital-branch lab: tied to one specific branch of a hospital, so results and stock stay scoped to that branch while still rolling up to the hospital.

Every laboratory, regardless of type, includes the full set of what a real lab needs: test catalog and pricing, sample/order tracking, analyzer interface logs, QC runs, result entry, a verifying-doctor sign-off step, report generation with QR, staff and permissions, and a favourites link so referring doctors can set a preferred lab.

Read the full guide: How the Laboratory sector works.

Pharmacies get full operational management: inventory, batches and expiry, point-of-sale against a scanned prescription QR, staff with permissions, and daily sales reporting.

The one cross-sector rule: a Medicine Company can see, for its own products only, the current stock level and daily sales figures at any pharmacy that stocks them โ€” without seeing that pharmacy's other brands, other customers, or overall finances.

Read the full guide: How the Pharmacy sector works.

A company account has a main administration / office management team at the top, and any number of manufacturing plants under it, each with its own plant management team, staff, bill of materials, work orders, QC tests, and stock movements.

The supply chain / field force layer sits below that as a post/position hierarchy โ€” for example Division โ†’ District โ†’ Thana-level representative posts โ€” so field staff, price lists, sales orders, and invoices can all be scoped to the right territory.

15 Security & good practice

  • No passwords to leak: sign-in is Google or a one-time email code, so there's no reusable password to steal.
  • Never share your OTP with anyone, including someone claiming to be MadiFair support.
  • Your medical data is yours: only doctors you've actually booked with, and labs/pharmacies handling your active order, can see the relevant records.

16 Troubleshooting & FAQ

Check spam/junk, confirm the email is typed correctly, and wait a minute before requesting a new code โ€” repeated requests are rate-limited for security.

It appears once the doctor finalizes the visit. If it's been a while after your visit, contact the chamber/hospital directly, or reach out via Help.

A report only unlocks after a verifying doctor at the lab signs off โ€” some tests take longer to process than others. Contact the lab if it's overdue.

No. Sign in once, then add that profession from the Create Professional Profile menu (see section 02). See the Doctor guide for that side of the system.
