A lab on MadiFair can be one of three kinds, each with its own management layer:
- Independent laboratory: fully self-managed — its own staff, test catalog, pricing, and report verification.
- Hospital-owned lab: operates under a hospital's main administration; the hospital sees consolidated reporting across the lab.
- Hospital-branch lab: tied to one specific branch of a hospital, so results and stock stay scoped to that branch while still rolling up to the hospital.
Every laboratory, regardless of type, includes the full set of what a real lab needs: test catalog and pricing, sample/order tracking, analyzer interface logs, QC runs, result entry, a verifying-doctor sign-off step, report generation with QR, staff and permissions, and a favourites link so referring doctors can set a preferred lab.
