How the Medicine Company sector works

Main administration, manufacturing plants, and a division → district → thana supply chain hierarchy.

Three layers of a Medicine Company account

LayerWhat it covers
Main administrationThe company's head office / office management team — overall approvals, price lists, invoices, documents, deviations & CAPA (corrective actions), and audit trail.
PlantsOne company can have several manufacturing plants, each with its own plant management team, staff, bill of materials (BOM), work orders, QC tests and results, raw materials, and stock movements. Stock can be transferred plant-to-plant.
Supply chain / field forceA post/position hierarchy below the main office — e.g. Division → District → Thana-level representative posts — that carries sales orders, price lists, and invoicing down to the territory actually selling the product.

Manufacturing, plant by plant

Supply chain: division → district → thana

Below the main administration, the field-force hierarchy carries the product to market:

  1. Division-level post: oversees several districts.
  2. District-level post: oversees thana/upazila-level territories within the district.
  3. Thana-level post: the field representative closest to doctors, pharmacies, and hospitals in that area.

Each post works with the company's price lists, raises sales orders, and the resulting invoices are tracked back to the main administration for reconciliation.

Where a Patient/Doctor sees this

Patients and doctors never see the company's internal manufacturing or supply chain — only the outward-facing parts: the company's medicine catalog, and (for the company) read-only visibility into its own products' stock and daily sales at connected pharmacies. See how the Pharmacy sector works for that link.
